Q. Do I have to pay before coming?

A. No, but registration is required. Or we will be happy to do it for $17 when you come in.

Q. Do I have to sign up for a class before I come?

A. No, but please come at least 15 to 20 minutes early. For early morning classes, please do sign up for class, but come even if you haven't!

Q. To register, what if I've been a student there in the past?
A. Check your record and be sure all the info is still correct, make needed changes.
Q. I can't remember my login and password
A. Your login is your e-mail address, you can query the system for your password and get an e-mail back with your password. Please do not enter yourself again -- look for your name and click on "this is me" 
 
Q. I can't sign in to the class list
 
A. Check your e-mail address, to get to your login, try putting in your first and last name on the right hand side of the login page and choose the "This is me" when you see it.

Parking Tips

We have plenty of parking and it's free. Try to avoid parking right in front mid-day to evening, to leave space for the restaraunts and the many elderly people who frequent the area. If things are crowded in the front, there is always a lot of parking around the back and to the sides, so look there if the lot is full. Be sure to start out early because traffic can be really daunting. As you know.

When Steve Jobs died, this quote was everywhere:
 
“Remembering that I’ll be dead soon is the most important tool I’ve ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because almost everything — all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure – these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.”

What struck me, so deeply, about these words from this great man, was the parallel to the words of another great man, my guru, my teacher, Bikram Choudary:
 
"You have nothing to lose, because you never had anything to begin with."

You are already naked. What are you waiting for? Bikram says you are in this world to find out what you are here for. Yoga is to help you find that out. By the end of your life, if you know that, you have had a successful life.

Think you are too old, too sick, too stiff, too sore, too embarrassed? How can you shrink away in the shadow of these great people? How can you shrink away in the face of your own great soul?
